RIP Norm. You were one of the great comedians of the last 30 years. You were never afraid to tell it like it is, even when it cost you your job on SNL.

As someone who had successful cancer surgery yesterday this hits deep. It just reinforces how fleeting life is. I didn’t know he had been battling cancer for 9 years. I bet he was taking Prednisone steroid which would explain why his face got so puffy the last few years.

RIP Norm, you were one of the greats.
His intentional bombing at the 1997 White House Correspondents Dinner was comedic gold.

I hate to hear that. He was so weird (in a nice way) and quick witted in his delivery. I really liked him. RIP

I loved all of his stuff. I quote his routines about wiener dogs often.
( going from memory )
“Yeah, a wiener dog can rip your throat out. Of course you would have to be laying on the floor and it would take it a couple of weeks.”

Truly sad news. One of the best comedians of all time.

I had no idea he was ill.
He was great, RIP

YouTube Compilation of Norm Macdonald - With those pesky built-in ads, you'll probably get a black screen, and will need to reload the page for the ad to start, before you can view the actual video.

A very funny man. His monologue when he was invited back to SNL (after being fired) was the ultimate funny FU. A sad day.

How sad. I didn't realize how much I liked him until I found out about him for the first time once he died. Watched some of his stuff on You Tube. Wonder how long that's going to stay there.
Amazing how the media keeps things from the public that they don't like. His OJ Simpson jokes are a riot. Everyone knows the truth except the media and the liberals. VERY funny!!!

He was a very, very funny guy. Rest In Peace. I’m somehow too sad about this loss. I did not know he was sick.
