Since diarrhea isn’t endemic (it doesn’t result from the workplace) it comes in with the employee, and thus isn’t regulated by OSHA.
Same applies to covid, it’s not resulting from the workplace, it is not endemic, therefore OSHA can’t regulate it.

Given my present situation, the red button is my choice. it would make my retirement considerations a lot easier. 20 years ago, the green button. If the 50% chance did not go my way, I’d be out nothing but the time it took to press the green button.

Likely someone following what Durham is doing, there are some articles here and there giving hints, because some orgs/individuals targeted by his grand juries have been making squeaking noises. And the NYT article.
I wonder if it might be a good idea to do the Preventive Ivermectin dosage when there's a local rise in cases, then taper off when that goes down. Sort of like putting up the guard only when the risk rises.
Then again, the other preventive measures might be more than sufficient.
Honestly, if I could be guaranteed a very mild case, I'd just as soon get the danged Rona and get over it, then I'd have natural immunity. :)

Same here. With my asthma there is no guarantee of a mild case. I think that on the weeks I don’t get out around people I will skip the weekly dose at least. I was thinking about not wasting what I have since it’s getting almost impossible to find.
My mom passed away last night. She is being cremated so no funeral service that I know about. Maybe a memorial service later but if I’m going to be in a crowd like that I will take it for sure.

The diamonds got stolen in that election too. All diamonds need to be returned. Either we return to constitutional principals in toto or we have no country. Getting to pick and choose which parts of the Constitution are okay and which are not going to be followed means utter destruction of the Republic.

I was going to do the “right thing” and work until next Summer, but I may not get the chance. The better half will have already been mandated into early (way too early) retirement by January 1, 2022. If this isn’t a fascist dystopia already, it will be soon.
One of the local bigshots privately told me that he is certain that many of his best employees will not take the jab, and he is already experiencing a shortage of people who will actually show up for work at all, let alone be competent.
I hope to be around long enough to go up to people like him and ask, “Miss us yet?”

That’s what we did for my dad. We weren’t crazy about him being cremated but Mom made that decision. Mom made the decision to have herself cremated. There was a memorial service a good while after Dad passed so that’s what I expect with Mom.
I’m still not sure the vaccine didn’t start this ball rolling with Mom. She has had problems for a while but was able to get around with a walker. My sister said she wanted the vaccine and BOOM, right after her second shot she started having small strokes and has been bedridden since. Now....she was 87 years old so the strokes could be age related or jab related. We will never know. I talked to her on the phone prior to her jabs and she was normal. After the jabs she was bedridden and didn’t know anybody most of the time.
Thanks! She’s better off. My sisters are worn out. She was only 80 pounds but it was taking both of them to keep her diaper changed. If I get like that just stick me in a nursing home and let them kill me.
I’ll be trying to figure it out over the weekend. Never touched a Mac before. You are a tech wiz.
