From the quotes I heard about Milley and Pelousy it occurred to me that Nancy was setting Milley up by dramatizing her “fear” about Trump. Milley, being a narcissistic authoritarian ran to her rescue. I can’t flesh out why but it seemed Nancy ran to Milley to do this or similar for her own purposes.
On the other hand, how can we believe Woodward? Milley is a scapegoat evidently and as others say, a shiny object.

FWIW, I don’t believe Biden was forced to become an actor. The White Hats would never have ‘actor Biden’ withdraw troops before civilians, give the Taliban/China billions in hardware and then use the State Department to trap American hostages in Afghanistan, blocking exists and escape opportunities.
