From the quotes I heard about Milley and Pelousy it occurred to me that Nancy was setting Milley up by dramatizing her “fear” about Trump. Milley, being a narcissistic authoritarian ran to her rescue. I can’t flesh out why but it seemed Nancy ran to Milley to do this or similar for her own purposes.
On the other hand, how can we believe Woodward? Milley is a scapegoat evidently and as others say, a shiny object.
