Started to get a bad feeling about the recall and figured I’d place an emotional hedge bet for Newsom that I’d be thrilled to lose. The betting odds are now so heavily in his favor that’s it’s not even worth it. A $10 bet for 40c in winnings. I only bet a literal few bucks at a time in sports whenever I’m watching with family, so I’d have to bet my entire modest bankroll for nearly $6.
I thought instead about placing my money on Elder, which is paying about 10 to 1. Then, I checked Trafalgar, the pollster I trust the most, and they have it breaking hard for the No’s now, about a 10 point gap.
It’s really depressing. I know there will be talk about cheating and all, but California is really a failed state with a hopelessly unreachable leftist majority. This shouldn’t be much of a surprise as so many people are fleeing.
If this goes how I fear it will, I hope it serves as a wake-up call to the many remaining holdouts to relocate to redder pastures. There is no hope for that state. You’d sooner convert ISIS to Christianity than bring around most of these commies. They will never internalize the dystopian hellscape that they’ve created for themselves and change. That said, you might as well get out and vote for Elder if you haven’t already.

Just about everyone I know living there is liberal. The few that aren’t moved there from the midwest and were conservative before hand.

actually i am working at the polls in the mid-San Fernando Valley, not the most conservative area at all. there is tremendous sentiment by those coming to vote that elections are manipulated. we had many who asked for paper ballots, eschewing the bmd’s. there is an undercurrent of discontent. whether it fully manifests this time around, i don’t know. i always ask friends not against Newsom to name 3 of his accomplishments. crickets. they aren’t rational. they are tribal just going for the D on the ballot.
Gavin Newsom will not be allowed to lose the recall election for one reason.
Spewsom is Bidens follow on for the presidency.

Also remember the Californians are very outdoorsy kinds of people with their great Mediterranean climate that they now cannot enjoy. Having to wear masks Outdoors is completely nutty and they know it.
I'd say Newsome looses unless the vote is rigged. If they are using the Dominion voting machines, that is a distinct possibility. Add vote harvesting where the harvesters throw out the votes for, say, Elder, then California is a Banana Republic headed for Communism I'd say.
If the vote is fair, I'd give it sixty percent for the recall.

A tie always goes to the Democrat. A close win for the Republican always goes to the Democrat. And this is going to be a close win for Elder.

They have rolled out “jug ears” Obama and that just enrages me. Unfortunately for our family, my job is still here and I need to work but not happy about the constant increases in gas taxes, increase in homelessness and poor fiscal management let alone the arrogance of Newsome.
The final count will be 114217984791874954795791 votes for Newsome, and negative 118301803808408408 votes for Elder.
The Dems have 66-33 percent registration advantage. Not only that, we only hold 7 out of 55 house seats. They don’t need to cheat. They have a huge amount of democrats in the state.
It’s a rigged game.
The Dems own the Electoral Casino. We can place our bets but it’s them what rolls the dice, spins the wheel, rigs the slots.
The odds are always in favor of the house.

Isn't Newsom also Nancy Pelosi's nephew or relative in some way?
It would be a HUGE embarrassment to her if he lost.

It would not surprise me if the majority of actual votes were to recall Newsom.
However, the Democrats have a million plus votes of dead people ready to dump late at night if needed.
You have better odds at a mob casino with Guido carefully watching your every move...and ready to break your legs if you get too clever.

A conservative would have good odds in America......but not in the tyranny that is California.
