Those days (pre 2020 days) seem so far away now.
But from what I recall, at least half of the people who may or may not have gotten the flu after getting a flu shot assumed they just got a bad cold or some other bug rather than the flu.
I remember back when I started one job, a government job, and the very first day I had my email up and running there were already two days’ worth of emails to go through, many of which were announcements that so and so was going to be out that day. I thought, “So it’s true what they say about government workers not having to work much and getting lots of time off.”
Well, it turned out some bad bug was going around. There was never any other time when I had that job that so many people called off. A week later I came down with it, albeit not as badly as others, but I couldn’t call off because I was new. And the person training me got it a couple days later.
And a lot these people had gotten the flu vax because they came around and gave it out.
So was it the flu? Did that particular flu strain evolve quickly around the vax and the flu became worse than it would have otherwise if no one had gotten the flu vax?
Quite possible.
And if that happens with something like influenza, perhaps we shouldn’t go messing around with vaxxes for coronaviruses in a bad coronavirus epidemic when we never messed around with vaxxes for coronaviruses before and really don’t know what we are doing.

Flu vaccines are actual vaccines. Covid vaxxes are not. They are treatments. Flu vaccines inject dead influenza viruses which the immune system creates antibodies for.
Covid “vaccines” inject live mRNA to code cells to produce live spike proteins -the actual bio-weapon of Covid-19. The conronavirus, and now the vaxx, is merely the delivery method. The body still makes antibodies to the spike protein which can assist defeating the Covid virus but the spike protein itself is the big danger. It is much worse than the corona virus. It’s what makes it a killer vs. being just another coronavirus infection aka a cold.
