You should read the article. I am not sufficiently familiar with it. It is diluted to 0.5%. It’s not for consumption. Whereas Lugols and Nascent Iodine are.
There are Betadine/povidone-iodine gargle solutions for sale if you can find them.

A glass of water. Apparently, you add enough drops of povidone iodine to turn the water brown. Then you swish it around your mouth and spit it out and also swab each nostril. It’s supposed to have amazing covid prevention and even curative properties.
