At the time, some of us familiar with the rules governing police use of force raised concerns over the shooting. Those concerns were heightened by the DOJ’s bizarre review and report, which stated the governing standards but then seemed to brush them aside to clear Byrd.
The DOJ report did not read like any post-shooting review I have read as a criminal defense attorney or law professor. The DOJ statement notably does not say that the shooting was clearly justified. Instead, it stressed that “prosecutors would have to prove not only that the officer used force that was constitutionally unreasonable, but that the officer did so ‘willfully.’” It seemed simply to shrug and say that the DOJ did not believe it could prove “a bad purpose to disregard the law” and that “evidence that an officer acted out of fear, mistake, panic, misperception, negligence, or even poor judgment cannot establish the high level of intent.”

>> I don’t see how “staging” the Babbitt murder would benefit either side
Definitely benefits the Rats — a “violent attempt” to break into the chambers. Naturally, the staging can only go so far — not like it can transition into a hostage crisis. So what better way to have a break-in then suddenly stop it? Shoot and kill a devout Trump angel.
Did you notice her pro-Trump video rant? Did you notice her perfect picture wearing the Trump hat. Extremely vivid in terms of clarity of content.
Very important to know that her movement into the window frame was coordinated with respect to the position of the gunman. And ironically, Jayden (the BLM/Antifa activist) filmed it all, and then peddled it to the MSM who paid about $25k. Jayden eventually got in trouble for that.
Yes, Ashli was in the company of BLM/Antifa activists.
FWIW, I originally shared the anger, but after seeing the publicly released video footage, I was in disbelief. And everything that’s happened since makes sense. I’m not struggling for answers like most everyone else. And if I’m wrong, that would suck — not because of pride, but because she would likely be dead.
I’d rather know she’s alive and simply made a bad decision to roleplay. Better than her being dead because she made a bad decision to break in.
Examiner: “Mr Babbitt”
Babbitt: “Yes, what can I do for you?”
Examiner: “We believe that we have Ashli’s body. Okay to cremate her?”
Babbitt: “Sure, go right ahead. Anything else?”
Examiner: “Nope, that’ll do it. Thanks”
Babbitt: “Take care”
Nothing to see here, she’s ashes.

“Nevertheless, Byrd boasted, “I know that day I saved countless lives.” He ignored that Babbitt was the one person killed during the riot.
This man is in serious denial. Or he really believes his own bullsh*t, which is even worse.”
This looks to me to be all part of setting up the narrative for the upcoming Sept. 11 false flag they are looking to pull off and blame those ‘Trump supporting insurrectionists’ for.
They sent this POS into this interview TO INFLAME THE SITUATION. No one would go on TV and be this insensitive if not to stir up the anger pot.
When the ‘distraction riots’ start they will get some Antifa dressed like Trump supporters to kill or maim someone ‘TO REVENGE ASHLI BABBITT’.
Byrd’s interview might even be mentioned as one of the causes. Similar to the ‘Benghazi was caused by a video’ BS.
Look how they got away with Jan. 6th. Doesn’t matter that every square inch of the Capital and surrounding grounds are covered with video surveillance, we’re not allowed to see all that video of what really occurred that day. A criminal mafia enterprise controls it all.
As a retired LE Official (thank the Lord!) from the D.C. area, I conducted many internal Investigations. The USCP Lt. was 100% in violation of the Use of Deadly Force policy for his agency as well as the D.C. Police, U.S. Park Police, USS, UD and all the Federal LE agencies within the District of C.
An IAD investigator does not weigh intent by the officer (that’s for the courts to decide) only did he defend himself or another from an actual or threatened attack that was imminent which could have resulted in death or serious bodily injury when no other options were feasible. The video provides clear evidence that deadly force was not justified. This should have been a quick and simple case to complete with a conclusion of unjustified use of force.
It’s very clear that the DOJ report is nothing more than smoke & mirrors to placate the public. The wording by DOJ is almost exactly what was used as justification for not indicting former SECSTATE Clinton for mishandling classified information.
Two tiers of justice! No doubt about it!
Never happened.
The Babitts were all investigated by the FBI to make sure that they were not a White Supremacist terrorist cell. Mr. Babbit was too busy fending off the FBI to consent to anything. The FBI found nothing. Babbit was an ordinary American Patriot who had served in the USAF. And she was in the complany of John Sullivan, an anarchist who was charged with simple trespass, and released on bail after. Sullivan diod not spend 6 months in solitary confinement like others
who were apprehended , why? Sullivan was an FBI operative.
Now a law suit will be launched, and the discovery proceedings will get very interesting. We;ll see if Byrd is Arkanicided. I have a feeling he is going to “disappear.”
As to the cremation.....no body....no murder.Hard to convict a cop with circumstantial evidence. Byrd should be executed IMHO, if he cannot be brought to Justice. He’s right up there with the murderer of George Floyd.
WORDS TO REMEMBER.......Under the standard used to kill Ashley, hundreds of rioters could have been gunned down on Jan. 6 — and officers in cities such as Seattle or Portland, Ore., could have killed hundreds of violent protesters who tried to burn courthouses, took over city halls or occupied police stations during last summer’s widespread rioting.
Lots of evil people on the left...
You're right both sides being equal before the law would really hurt democrats...
Well said; and thank you.
