Elon Musk has criticized fellow centibillionaire and space cowboy Jeff Bezos for filing lawsuits against the former’s aerospace company SpaceX.
Earlier this month, Bezos’ space firm Blue Origin sued NASA after it lost a critical government contract to put astronauts on the Moon to SpaceX. This has had the effect of delaying SpaceX’s own work on the project. And now, this week, Amazon has urged the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to dismiss newly-submitted plans by SpaceX to launch another cluster of satellites to power its satellite internet service Starlink.
Replying to a story about the latter complaint, Musk tweeted: “Turns out Besos [sic] retired in order to pursue a full-time job filing lawsuits against SpaceX …”

Bezos is a loser and the money can’t wash it off.
lovely how such multi=billionaires (or, in their own communistic lingo, “over-privileged 1% elite spoiled pig blod-suckers”) have never even learned the most rudimentary people skills
we should send them back to kindergarten and require that they receive passing marks on their “plays well with others” report cards!
ps: they deserve each other, ha ha
The Kessler Syndrome is overused by hack reporters trying to instill fear to their readership. Space is vast and the likelihood of collisions are infinitesimal.
Bezos really is a disgusting human being who has caused considerable damage to the world.
Bezos is looking for payback for his roll in helping to get rid of Trump.
Modern day Tesla vs. Edison
Liberal losers are the worst losers.
So if Bezos retired, who is running Amazon now?
Space yes, but Orbital space... definitely not. There have already been several near collisions involving Starlink satellites and other valuable assets in low orbit. And space junk from failed satellite placement and launches are getting to be an unpredictable risk.
The total number of satellites launched since the 50s is only about 9000, but Musk has already got 1300 up and adding 120 more per month. Their failure rate was around 5% but is improving, rivals claim that the failure rate should be less than .1% to ensure future safety.
Bezos is a dildo just like his little rocket ship, his tantrums are delaying our space program for months.
Correct. Starlink satellites have collision avoidance based on satellite orbital data and deorbit at the end of service. Even with that, you’re correct, space is vast and orbital shells have plenty of room. The number of Starlink satellites is if I recall correctly more than all other active satellites combined.
and in this case Tesla was first to market with the superior product that has now made it the preferred supplier to SpaceForce over such things as Boeing and LockMart.
Bezos started his company in his mom’s basement.
Musk left his home to come to America and start his business.
You can tell by watching them.
“hey Alexia! Take me to the moon!”
I’m sorry I can’t do that yet.
That will be $200, cash.
SpaceX has launched has launched ~1732 Starlink satellites to date and 98 of them have been safely deorbited. Skimmed the article you posted and it’s the typical Elon bashing from those who are threaten by the success of SpaceX. ViaSat is a horse whip manufacturer of broadband service from GEO and will be losing out big time to Starlink and Bezos, with his Kuiper paper satellite constellation, can only lawyer up as Blue Orgin is so far behind that they’ll never be able to catch up.
Seems reasonable. Just waiting on my Biden check.
