Annin flags. Believe it or not Walmart sells them for under $30. I buy the 3X5 nylon. we fly it 24/7 in NE Florida and barely fades or frays over the course of a year. Outstanding flags. Made in USA (Alabama, i think)

Used to buy Valley Forge brand but Annin are superior in just about every way. Valley Forge is also made in USA.

I go through many flags. Even the best will only last 180 days of all weather. I think government retires a flag every year at facilities.

Sorry, forgot that you also asked about poles. I use a wall mounted flag pole mount anchored to our brick walls. I use a 7ft x 1in (OD) aluminum piece of pipe for the pole. Aluminum is light and more flexible than wood or the mass produced poles sold in bigbox stores. My aluminum pole has been up for close to 10 years now.

I use Anin "Tough-Tex" flags. They are strong, don't fray, and the colors last about two years flying outdoors full time.

I buy my 4x6 ft flags on Amazon. You pay more, but you get what you pay for.

Our insurance agency takes old, worn out flags and stores them. Then, once a year, they give them to the American Legion which works with the Boy Scouts to properly dispose of them. The insurance agency even gives you a new replacement flag for free! They are really good people.

https://firebrandflags.com/

Made from kevlar.

“”Each Firebrand Flag incorporates the same fire-retardant, kevlar fabric that keeps our service members and first responders safe. Our flags maintain strict adherence to height, width and color specifications. To ensure our Flags can never BURN, we reinvented the manufacturing process right here in the U.S. “”

.

I suppose it does not get any tougher than that.
