Babbitt crossed a line that had been clearly delineated. The police obviously felt it was a last stand. The potential danger was obvious. Babbitt’s shooting appears to have stopped the forward movement of the crowd. All this happened on a day when the vice president’s life had been threatened, and when police were being savagely beaten elsewhere in the building.
Could the mob possibly have been stopped without Babbitt’s death? Maybe. Perhaps there was a way to have avoided deadly force. But it’s not clear to me what that way would have been — and it is clear that if Babbitt had gone through that doorway, an out-of-control situation would have deteriorated further.

This was a riot, Ashli Babbitt was at its vanguard and, based on what I’ve seen, the police officer who shot her was doing his job.

Textbook MSM gas-lighting.
Our first task is to push for the "Ashli Babbitt One Standard Law" so Ashli Babbitt's death becomes memorialized for the forces of democracy.
We DEMAND any group of protestors - LIBERAL OR CONSERVATIVE - BLACK OR WHITE attempting to 'occupy' a Government building be shot at point black range and assassinated on the spot BY ANY COP (even if the protesters are unarmed.)
Like Ashli was...
And furthermore that every cop is (during the time of a protest) 'judge, jury and executioner'... Enter a federal building as a protest and cops shoot you. No exceptions. Liberals and conservatives, blacks and whites, rich and poor... all held to the same standard. The Ashli Babbitt Standard.
Are YOU willing to fight for our Democracy and Way of Life? Then join the Ashli Babbitt Defends Democracy With her life Movement'.
Our police forces do need to learn to apply force proportionately to the danger posed in any situation. After all, the jury trial is part of the necessary foundation. I would be more than happy to put everything I have into reestablishing Constitutional Rule, something we haven't had in many years.
We also need to push for truth in media. Those organizations are acting solely as the Propaganda Ministry for the leftist-extremists. They are the ones who distorted the Babbitt issue as well as the Jan 6 incident in general.
We would also be remiss if we didn't organize and fight against political/social engineering in the schools. Failure to curb those abuses are a major part of how we came to this point in our society.
Ashli Babbitt's death was surely a pre-planned event. We need to push that to the forefront of people's minds as well.
Perhaps you missed my post to you where I indicated having now seen some videos that clearly showed Babbitt was not the danger to senators as the media portrayed her.
the Greek chorus has it’s place. And trust me - the obsessive poll takers are afraid of ‘the people’ talking.
100% Lies
Needs to disappear through a hole in the ice...
OMG. What a pathetic spin. To follow his logic, I think the author of this drivel is a threat to the nation and the first police officer who sees him should shoot him.
I think I was speaking of John Sullivan who is not an officer.
I surely do see the wisdom in that. It was a kind Freeper who sent me links to important videos regarding the Babbitt murder. I had never seen them. Viewing them changed my understanding and how I would like to se the issue handled.
We're in deep shit as a society.
All the laws we need are in place and on the books... the basis of our legal system is embodied in the statue of
a blindfolded woman holding scales. She can’t see if the person seeking justice is a man or woman, rich or poor, of color or not...
That’s the ideal.
Where laws and justice are applied equally.
Yeah, if only they were. Our Nation has developed some serious corruption.
