The cheap, sliced cheese used in burgers and sandwiches topped a poll of 2,000 British adults to mark National Burger Day.

Cheddar came in second place, with 33 per cent of voters naming it as their favourite, followed by mozzarella.

My second fave is sangria in those ginormous glass bottles (I think also screw-top). What boxed wine do you prefer?

Look in their snooty cheese section. They carry Wenslydale there. At least in Texas they do.

Thanks. I don’t buy it often because of the $$$.

When in the UK years ago...hubby and I would make a charcuterie board for our meal with diffetent cheeses, fruit, bread....and cheap French wine.

They sell these little trial sizes over there....so we didn’t have to buy a whole block.

That “cheese” is one I don’t like at all. If I eat a take out burger, I make sure they don’t put it on there.

English cuisine is the pits. They make great cheese and bread.
