Processed cheese slices are the UK's favourite type of cheese, a survey has revealed.

The cheap, sliced cheese used in burgers and sandwiches topped a poll of 2,000 British adults to mark National Burger Day.

Cheddar came in second place, with 33 per cent of voters naming it as their favourite, followed by mozzarella.

Its a foodhub poll so most, if not all, of the responders were using their phones and were mostly millenials. Therefore the most popular cheese would be one that you need could eat using only one hand cause the other is holding a phone.

I wonder how many in the survey were not native born Brits? Non-natives will have no appreciation for the terrific traditional UK cheeses.

I bet most of the Muslim immigrants too—won’t touch traditional UK cheese.....

Cheez Whiz was #2?

Anyone else here remember the old TV show, "The Pretender?" There was an episode where the star "pretended" to be a firefighter, and he discovered that when it was his turn to cook for the rest of the firefighters, the secret ingredient was "Cheese Whiz!"
