Seems like you’re good for about 30 weeks if you don’t catch it. If you do catch it, you have enough to knock it out with doses to spare. Once you’ve caught it, you’re immune and probably won’t need it any longer. If you catch it in 25 weeks, and you weren’t able to replenish your supply with the Chewy variety yet, I suspect the more expensive brand will look not quite as expensive at that dire moment. You’ve got this! 😉
OK, I figured mine out. I have been taking a little over my weight on the horse scale for prevention. By your calculations I can get 6 doses out of a tube. That means out of a 1250 pound tube (for horses) I would take app. the dose for 200 pounds instead of the 140 I have been taking.
I still need to know if that figure is for prevention or an active infection. I have been taking about 140 pounds worth once a week for prevention.
