Despite a recent increase in the number of serious cases in Israel, including among the fully vaccinated, those who received both doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 are significantly less likely to experience severe illness, according to data released by the Israeli Health Ministry.
As of August 16, the ministry recorded 159 severe COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people among the unvaccinated over the age of 60, compared to 20 per 100,000 people among the fully vaccinated. This makes the unvaccinated elderly more than eight times as likely to experience a severe case than their immunized counterparts.

Since 90% of people over 60 in Israel have been “fully vaccinated” this study indicates that the vast majority of “severe COVID-19 cases” have been “fully vaccinated”.
Further down in the article, “the effectiveness of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine in preventing infection and mild symptoms has dropped to 40 percent”. My guess is that this study trying to claim what a great job the “vaccine” is doing is based on a small sample size and a lot of subjective determinations by people who are hoping to show that a vaccine that is currently less than “40% effective” and dropping fast is still worth the horrendous associated death and severe injuries that it causes.

My brother still still thinks it prevents contracting it, just because they call it a vaccine. Thing is, he’s usually not that gullible. I don’t understand it.

The “vaccines” are working. They are a cure for Wuhan flu hysteria, not a vaccine for the flu. Hysteria sufferers who get the vaccine overcome their hysteria, drop their precautions and get the flu. The success of the vaccinations is measured by the number of vaccinated who get the flu.
