Ignore the URL as I did not know what to put in there. But, I work in NJ and just got into a debate about Covid, masks, unvaccinated at work which turned into a yelling match. It's amazing how people are okay with vaccine passports, forced mask mandates and even wishing "will ill' on those not vaccinated. I was even called selfish for not wanting to wear a mask----"but I had Covid already"......That doesn't matter. They didn't even acknowledge that illegals coming in over the border unvaccinated was a problem. WTH, it's not even worth speaking to these woke idiots. I stayed calm but it escalated so incredibly fast when I simply didn't agree. BTW, I work in NJ, live in PA----is it this bad everywhere in the country? Give me some hope here....

It seems most people are completely incapable of critical thought.
If I can make it five more years, I'll be assured of never running out of money in retirement and will be able to live wherever I want and pretty much do whatever I want. If I have to retire now, however, I'll still be okay but I'll probably have to clip some coupons along the way!
Now the people I work with here in NYC are great. It's external forces that are crimping my workplace. The NYC mandates are utterly ridiculous and they are making life as difficult as possible for those who do not want to take the experimental shots.
I'm close to 60 years old and have never missed a day of work in my 40+ year plus career. I've had the common cold/flu from time to time but I shake it off quickly and it doesn't keep me from coming to work. I've also never had a prescription drug which seems to amaze the doctors and dentists I see.
I'd like to keep it that way and I trust my immune system against this Chinese virus. For all I know, I've already had it. I do commute to NYC every week and have been to other major cities over the past year and a half. Only wear the stupid mask when I'm required to, otherwise it stays in my pocket. Same black cloth mask I've had since last April or May. I suppose I ought to toss it into the washing machine some day!
So far my company is on the side of their employees. None of their business whether or not we get the "shots". But increasingly, clients are mandating that anybody coming into their place of business needs one. I am determined not to get the experimental shots because I want to protect my immune system that has worked so well for six decades.
So if it gets to the point where clients won't see me, I will be inconveniencing my company and I'll probably need to step aside and let the younger ones take over.

I just moved here from Germany. Beavercreek, which is a suburb of Dayton. I see a few masked idiots but the majority that I have encountered here are done with it. Went to an Irish fest 2 weeks ago in Dublin; maybe 1% had masks on. Where in Ohio are you?
