They can now be tracked and monitored 24/7 with this implant until your monitored nervous and emotional responses convince their "Dr" that you have been sufficiently re-educated to the institution's standards. (Faking becomes considerably less possible!)

I've read that medical nanobot technology will better manage chronic illnesses like diabetes by manufacturing and dispensing medications on demand within the body. So, we're gonna be wifi anyway.
