Meyer,
Stay where you’re at, and do the break-even analysis, and research other jobs, in case the idiot-n-thief pulls a stunt like an EO mandating the shots.
They look at the last 5 years’ salary when figuring benefits; see if that applies to both soc sec as well as your pension.
I bailed this year at 64, since that is when the pension made a big jump.
I had looked at the projections since 2016, and seen that jump, thus made my decision back then to go this year.
I’m glad I did, because back in January, they said shots were only available to folks 65 and over, and back last October they said folks would not all go back to the office till the shots were available and figured mid 2021 for that.
I don’t know if they changed to “shots mandatory” now or not.
Up till January we had been working at home half the day, and going in to the factory the other half.
Folks in the production and assembly areas never did half day work from home; they had to be on-site.
All they did when coming in-plant was ask if you had symptoms or were around someone sick, and did the temperature check.
There would be a few folks each week get sick and quarantine, but not many.
FYI - big quake this afternoon on border of Philippines and Indonesia. 7.2 so bigun. Potential tsunami warnings.
But binding to the ACE2 site releases all kinds of inflammatory cytokines. (Cathi, can you re-send me the link for that? About 2-3 months back, if you have it.)
