Markie Post, the actress best known for her roles in TV’s “Night Court” and “Scrubs” and the film “There’s Something About Mary,” died Saturday following a years-long battle with cancer. She was 70.
The California-born actress’s death was confirmed by her manager Ellen Lubin Sanitsky, who didn’t release further details on the circumstances, Deadline reported.
Post got her start in the entertainment business when she started working as a producer on game shows before starting her on-camera career as a card dealer on NBC’s “Card Sharks” in the late 1970s, the outlet reported.
She later appeared in several television series, including “CHiPs,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Cheers,” “Fantasy Island” and “The A-Team.”
In 1982, she landed the part of Terri Michaels, the bail bondswoman in ABC’s “The Fall Guy,” and was in 65 episodes over the course of three years.

That was Harry Anderson who passed away (from stroke related complications and illness) in 2018. He was something of a libertarian, IIRC.

Believe the mainstay cast members left from that show are John Larroquette (Dan Fielding), Richard Moll (Bull Shannon), Karen Austin (Lana Wagner, later replaced by Mac), Ellen Foley (Billie Young), and Marsha Warfield (Roz Russell).
But, my memory's not the best. Maybe some of you long time Rush fans will remember it better than I.

You are correct, he did have a crush on Markie Post, and he couldn’t hide it at all
IMO, the Clinton Gang thought they could influence him using Post. Remember, this was the spring leading up to the Fall, 1994 elections where the GOP took the Senate and House, and hobbled the Clinton agenda.

A while back, I noticed that Jim Perry, the host, called one of the female card dealers “Markie”. The woman was blonde and bore some resemblance to Markie Post, so that made me curious. Now, I have my answer.
I loved Night Court. John Larroquette’s character was a riot.
