Why is the 60 Million dollar question. I dunno, but they sure are desperate for it to happen. I can think of a number of reasons-all deal with nefarious purposes.
I’m in my mid 70s. I’ve had a good life. I’ll trust my God given immune system before I trust an experimental bio treatment. If I die-so be it. Over a long enough timeline we all do. shrug.
Had they made a traditional sterilizing vax from an inactivated virus, I would have given it serious consideration. But they didn’t do that, and all the other nonsense they have done, just smacks of ulterior motives.
This is a medical decision that should be made by the individual in consultation with their Doctor.
I looked at the situation too - consulted with my doctor - and made the decision to get the vaccine. I’m comfortable with my choice and with yours. It’ll be years before ‘the right’ choice is known.
I am convinced that the right choice is not one size fits all. Every individual’s health status is different. That’s why it should be a medical decision between the doctor and patient.
Far left Dem activists in the guise of doctors have been lying about and inflating covid deaths figures for political reasons from the get go last year.

Did you miss all the hundreds of posts on here about the hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, who took the covid vaccines then died from covid?
Of course they were not offered anything. It's not allowed by the medical community. The question may be "important", but it's irrelevant. Treatment is not allowed.

I can't say I know three who were killed by the vaccine, but I know three who were given a push on the sliding board of life by the vaccine. I also know of a blood clot and someone who hasn't been able to stay awake all day because of overwhelming fatigue that has lasted for months.
My first thought too. I find it disturbing the media/government is checking the posting history of anyone unvaxxed that dies of covid, so they can hold them up as an example. Or it is a lie. Either way, it serves 2 purposes: creating fear and discouraging people from being outspoken against the shot.
Meanwhile, doctors and virologists who voice legitimate concerns are being heavily censored.
OTOH, my 60 year old obese, diabetic, alcoholic brother with kidney problems and other health issues caught COVID and was sick for a few days with mild cold like symptoms.
One case proves nothing and exceptions are bad things to make rules and laws over.

I had it in Jan ‘20 following a cruise. This was before they even had the test for it. Only from symptoms, long-haul after effects, and post-infection immunity do I know I had it.
You are right about one thing. The hysteria about needing to vaxx for an infection with .02% mortality is highly suspicious.
Just so you know I need to be vaxxed for work. I took the 1st Pfizer in Jan and had a reaction so skipped the 2nd. I took the J&J in June, got the (”kook”-predicted) headaches 3 days later and have been taking aspirin and Plavix to minimize blood clotting since then. 18 months of that now. Looking forward to the Novavax and the due diligence on that.
Do what you want. Liberty and freedom belong to the people, not corporations and bureaucrats.
When I hear someone has taken the vax, I pray for them.
I don’t believe for a minute that it’s safe for a multitude of reasons.
However, people are adults and as such have the freedom to make their own health care decision that they feel are in their best interest.
If they ask me, I’ll tell them what I think but am not going to gloat over someone dying from the vax.
I think it’s tragic that people are being so conned into it by the fearporn of the virus that they are taking that kind of risk and that it backfires on them.
I don’t know anyone personally that died of COVID-19 (50 or so I know that got it we’re mild cases or flu symptoms). However I do know one the vaccine killed and another seriously injured.
This nonsense should stop, there are plenty dying on both sides of COVID. Hospitals are filling with both the vaccinated and not. The vaccine appears useless against the spread. It’s only purpose is to lesson symptoms. Then why? There are better therapeutics with side effects that don’t cause lasting damage and death. Vaccine pushers are insane, push the safe treatments.
I don’t believe the story. Too convenient for the left agenda.
