Usually a teacher who gets in trouble is asked to resign that way they can get a job somewhere else.
But when they are fired.....not so much.
Glad she got the boot.
Mo is lucky RPOTUS called him up to the stage, again, after his speech blunder.

Was she working in a PUBLIC school or a PRIVATE school? Because if Public it is very hard to fire a Ten Year teacher (maybe she wasn’t Ten Year).
My husband when he was a VP in California he and the principle had to go to court to fire a teacher who was drinking on the job. It took a long time and a lot of doing but they did finally got it done.
It was so long ago I can’t actually remember if it was a Judicial court or an Administrative court. It was more than likely Administrative.
