I don’t nap on purpose, I just doze off, so I have to move around until it goes away. If I nap even for a few minutes, I feel like it’s a new day, then I can’t go to sleep. I never had that problem when I was younger.

The same with me. If I happen to fall asleep I wake up feeling like I had been on a binge the day before.

I too used to not be able to sleep at night but when my husband was in rehab for a month the 1st time back in 2001 it was the first time we had been separated. I started listening to a little portable radio on the TALK channels. It wouldn’t be long before I was asleep. I couldn’t listen to music because I would start to sing along with them. No TV because the flashing of the light from it would keep me awake. Talk radio was the ticket. I have it quietly right up near my ear.

Maybe you could try that.
