SLIDE

Fellow geezers, apologies if this is old news to you, but it occurred to me today, as I was taking my prescription, that there may be some who don’t know about this feature of the prescription bottle.

Those child-proof caps can be awful for arthritic hands. If you turn the cap upside down it will still attach to the bottle and be much easier to remove. They have been designed this way, but that is not obvious.

Not the ones our pharmacy uses, we had to pop out the clear plastic insert and then the bottle wouldn’t close securely.

We finally gave up and just asked them to change everything over to non-child-proof caps.

OK. Just as long as I don’t have to turn myself upside down.
