Might want to re-ping your list with a link to this post and to; https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3975055/posts?page=91#91

827.3mb of prepping/homesteading/gardening info. Try to take only what you’re interested in so you don’t blow up my hosting bandwidth. It’s not going anywhere anytime soon so there’s plenty of time to browse the files. That is unless hosting tells me to cool it. So far the server stats aren’t giving me any warnings and bandwidth is supposed to be unlimited but “unlimited” when it pertains to hosting doesn’t actually mean unlimited.

There’s actually been quite a bit of download activity which is fine. That’s why I uploaded it.

Use the three little dots to the right of a folder or file to download it. If you’re in a folder and want to download several items, tick the check boxes for them and use the “actions” link that will appear up top/left to download them.

PDF files can be previewed directly but html files won’t render and will show the html code instead. There’s not many of those and they’re very small in file size. AZ Granny’s info which are html files are the exception to that. They can be viewed here; https://permasteader.com/AZ_Granny/stor01.html and downloaded as AZ_Granny.zip here; https://permasteader.com/AZ_Granny.zip. The zip file has a folder with the html files. Keep them in the folder and navigation among them with a browser will still work. They simply all have to be in one folder of any name.

Mostly, the other html files are Dutch Oven Recipes but you can just download them as a zip file, unzip and view in your browser. All of them only total up to 791kb.

There are a few .doc files, .xls files and .txt files as well. Text files can be previewed of course. Word .doc files, I’m not sure of and .xls, I doubt it.

There are several hundred files and I have not opened every single one. I’m pretty sure I got rid of any copyrighted stuff. There was also marijuana and magic mushroom growing info and I’m pretty sure I pulled all of those out as well. I downloaded most of this as a torrent years ago and the pot and shroom stuff was in there as well as some books still under copyright.

I searched the file for “marijuana”, “cannabis” and got rid of those. Then I sorted by size and went through anything over about 5mb to weed out books. I left a couple of books in there that are over 100 years old and some books that have no copyright info so I assume they were free pdf files to begin with. Many look like they’re from the 70s when people were trying to save the world from global cooling.

So I think I got things pretty well cleaned up. I have opened many of them and they were all what they were purported to be, no bait and switch stuff.

Interesting; Greenhouse, Seed & Nuts seem to be the most downloaded.

Correction, not that it matters. Everything in the Agriculture folder is what I downloaded as a torrent years ago. Everything else I’ve collected piece by piece over the years.

Pretty good article on long term storage of dry goods in 5 gallon buckets; https://theprepperjournal.com/2013/06/11/food-storage-in-buckets/

Overall decent site with not too many advertisements. Most are insane with their ads. This site just has a few inline in the articles.
