At the end of January, reports that yet another COVID-19 vaccine had succeeded in its clinical trials—this one offering about 70 percent protection—were front-page news in the United States, and occasioned push alerts on millions of phones. But when the Maryland-based biotech firm Novavax announced its latest stunning trial results last week, and an efficacy rate of more than 90 percent even against coronavirus variants, the response from the same media outlets was muted in comparison.
The difference, of course, was the timing: With three vaccines already authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the nation is “awash in other shots” already, as the The New York Times put it.
Practically speaking, this is true. If the FDA sees no urgency, the Novavax vaccine might not be available in the U.S. for months, and in the meantime the national supply of other doses exceeds demand. But the asymmetry in coverage also hints at how the hype around the early-bird vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna has distorted perception. Their rapid arrival has been described in this magazine as “the triumph of mRNA”—a brand-new vaccine technology whose “potential stretches far beyond this pandemic.” Other outlets gushed about “a turning point in the long history of vaccines,” one that “changed biotech forever.”
It was easy to assume, based on all this reporting, that mRNA vaccines had already proved to be the most effective ones you could get—that they were better, sleeker, even cooler than any other vaccines could ever be.
But the fascination with the newest, shiniest options obscured some basic facts. These two particular mRNA vaccines may have been the first to get results from Phase 3 clinical trials, but that’s because of superior trial management, not secret vaccine sauce.

1975 Federal Drug Administration Bureau of Biologics concludes that Diphtheria toxoid (vaccine) is ‘not as effective an immunizing agent as might be anticipated.’ They admit that Diphtheria may occur in vaccinated people, and note that ‘the permanence of immunity induced by the toxoid is open to question.’
1975 Japan stops using Pertussis vaccine following publicity about vaccine-related deaths.
1976 FDA Pertussis vaccine specialist Charles Manclark comments ‘Pertussis vaccine is one of the most troublesome products to produce and assay. It has one of the highest failure rates of all products submitted to the Bureau of Biologics for testing and release. Approximately 15-20% of all lots which pass manufacturer tests fail to pass the tests of the Bureau.’
1976 According to a letter from the British Association for Parents of Vaccine Damaged Children, published in the British Medical Journal of February 1976, ‘two years ago we started to collect details from parents of serious reactions suffered by their children to immunizations of all kinds. In 65% of the cases referred to us, reactions followed ‘triple’ vaccinations. The children in this group total 182 to date. All are severely brain damaged, some are paralyzed, and 5 have died during the past 18 months. China wanted desperately to deny any culpability in releasing the Wuhie, either deliberately or accidentally. They also wanted to be the FIRST to produce and deploy a ‘vaccine.’ The great communist Chinese ego needs to be satisfied as THE only world power to succeed in ‘saving’ the world from the big bad virus.
They tried to hack the big pharma to steal a formula from somewhere and they failed, otherwise, we would have known about it.
After producing a ‘vaccine’ lightening fast, the Chinese gave their ‘vaccine’ to poor countries free of charge to gain their governments and people’s support. The only thing the Chinese didn’t want is mass casualties from a lousy ‘vaccine.’
To summarize what the Chinese wanted to accomplish:
- We (China) don’t know how the Wuhan virus from bats infected humans.
- China is a world power that deployed a free and safe COVID ‘vaccine’ WAY BEFORE other world powers.
As engineers know and say: to build a plant, you can choose only 2 out of 3; cheap, good, fast. What applies to China here is what they actually did:
They produced a ‘vaccine’ (fast and cheap) and that means it should be quite lousy. However, they couldn’t afford mass casualties as a result.
The only way to avoid a terrible outcome is to make sure that the ‘vaccine’ is nothing but a placebo, if you will. The safest thing is a WFI (water for injection) shot, hopefully manufactured according to Western specs!
I don’t know if the Chinese ‘vaccine’ was analyzed by the West. Even if it was found to be nothing but WFI, no country would dare advertise the facts and suffer the wrath of Red China and there far-left allies in the West.
Maybe, the people who were vaxxed with a Chinese ‘vaccine’ we’re lucky after all! They didn’t get jabbed with experimental ‘vaccines’, however, they think: now we’re safe, which is the best of both worlds!

Yes, that is my understanding as well. It will be interesting to see how effective the inactivated virus vaccine (Covaxin) developed in India is.
Sinovax and Novavax are different. Sinovax is a private Chinese company. I believe they did a quick, rough version of a deactivated virus vaccine.
Novavax was a failed company, in the stock market, going out of business, and located in Maryland.
As the dangers of each type of Covid 'vaccine' surface, they start waving a flag yelling "Over Here! New VAX! This one's better! Promise."
Novavax is an injection of pure spike proteins, the ones that are causing devastating harm in all the other vaccines. They are not 'better.'

ransomnote: I was wondering why there were so many news articles for Novavax all dated 6/14. Almost like press releases = free advertising from MSM. I saw elsewhere that Novavax development was also supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, among others.
How Novavax works:
DNA designed to make the spike proteins is put into another virus and that virus is put into moth cells. The DNA instructs the moth cells to mass produce the spike proteins, then the spike proteins are harvested (purified) from the moth cells.
The spike cells stick together and have the antigenic properties of the Sars 2 Covid virus, without the actual presence of the Covid virus.

The Byram Bridle “bombshell” on the bio-distribution of spike protein is really complete crap. Even though no one seems to mention it, if you actually look at the Japanese Pfizer study (which is the basis of Bridle’s “bombshell”), you will see that this study was based on Wistar rats being injected in the hindleg with extremely high doses (500 times the equivalent dose that a human receives from being vaccinated.) See the heading of the table staring on page 6 of the Pfizer Japanese study here:

Byram Bridle, Steve Kirsh, etc. speak as if this was a study based on humans being injected in the shoulder, when in fact it was a toxicology study using rats. Also, when Kirsh and Malone presented the graphs of the data in the Dark Horse podcast, they conveniently left out the graph showing the concentration at the injection site. These people certainly know better. I don’t think they are being honest. Kirsh has money in the game, and probably Malone as well.
