HI all, My family has all been diagnosed with Covid and all very sick.
I started everyone on the protocol by EVMS which says to take a dose on day 1 and day 3. Unfortunately, on day 6 we are all still very sick. Should I restart the Ivermectin?

Sad news.

Zyesami (aka Aviptadil / RLF-100).
The FDA's decision on an Emergency Use Authorization should be coming in the next few days/weeks. It's already being used elsewhere on emergency use.
This is a patented formulation of Vasoactive Intestinal Polypeptide (VIP is naturally found in the body) and was initially being tested as a treatment for very serious covid cases, but other formulations are being tested on more mild cases. [2][3][4]
This therapeutic has a multimodal mechanism of action: decrease of inflammatory cytokines release leading to prevention of cytokine storm syndrome and viral replication, immunomodulating effect, vasodilating and bronchodilating effects, and prevention of surfactant depletion (surfactant coats the inside of the lungs, which can be lost during COVID-19 and lead to respiratory failure).
Information for those with critical covid in respiratory failure:
ZYESAMI (Aviptadil) Intermediate Population Expanded Access Protocol (SAMICARE) (SAMICARE)Patients with Critical COVID-19 and respiratory failure who are ineligible for enrollment in NCT04311697, who live more than 50 miles from an existing collaborating research center, or who are already hospitalized and cannot safely be transferred to a collaborating research facility may be considered for expanded access by the sponsor.
Treating physicians must complete FDA Form 3396 and receive a letter of authorization from NeuroRx, along with local IRB authorization.
Please refer to FDA guidance for Individual Patient Expanded Access https://www.fda.gov/media/91160/download
Now, if only Dr. Fraudchi et. al would get past their obsession with vaccines, and vaccines only...there are a number of great therapeutic candidates out there that could be of immense benefit to lowering the death rate from covid.
I talked to my pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente about ivermectin today. She was very willing to answer my questions. I asked her if any of the doctors were prescribing ivermectin for COVID preventative and therapy. She said none of them are prescribing it. I asked why it’s not prescribed and she said it was not approved by the FDA.
I told her that people were buying ivermectin paste that is used for horses with certain parasites. She started to smile and said it was the wrong thing to do. I asked if there was a dose level for that paste and she laughed saying that she couldn’t imaging people being so stupid to self-medicate with something designed for horses with parasites. She said there was no dosage, to her knowledge, for humans.
I mentioned that people were getting prescriptions online from doctors who were members of Frontline Doctors. She laughed even more and couldn’t imagine someone doing something so bizarre. I told her that it was like men getting prescriptions online for Viagra. That generated a real laugh. She thanked me for putting a humorous light to her day.
The cytokine storm generated by COVID is hereditary.
PING
Something for folks to consider as another option, if, they ever find themselves with more than a mild bout of covid.
Check out # 262.
Thanks rxsid.

IIRC, they are already doing/have already done trials using ivermectin, in other countries.
Thanks for the info and prescription Sid.
There’s really no need to resort to the use of the vetinary product, you can order Ivermectin on line, just google Ziverdo kit and make your choice.
Before you decide to remain under the influence of your pharmacist, may I suggest you listen to Dr Zelenko and Dr Mercola:

It’s the dosage my doctor will determine after the clinical trials are completed. From what I have seen, the efficacy of ivermectin has not even been established.
In November 2020, the FDA granted emergency use authorization to two monoclonal antibody treatments (bamlanivimab, made by Eli Lilly; and a combination of casirivimab and imdevimab, made by Regeneron).
Many doctors, including those in the United States, have been treating very ill COVID-19 patients with corticosteroids since the pandemic began. It makes biologic sense for those patients who have developed a hyper-immune response (a cytokine storm) to the viral infection. In these cases, it is the immune system’s overreaction that is damaging the lungs and other organs, and too often leading to death.
Dexamethasone and other corticosteroids (prednisone, methylprednisolone) are potent anti-inflammatory drugs. They are readily available and inexpensive.
As always, please consult your doctor and keep an open mind to the advice you will receive. It’s best to keep your doctor on your team, rather than on a debate team.
I posted that link fully aware you wouldn’t bother to watch the video.
– The Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), a group of highly published, world-renowned critical care physicians and scholars, today praised the recent updated guidance from the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) to include ivermectin in its guidelines for the treatment of COVID-19. I told my Kaiser Permanente pharmist about Front Line Doctors who were prescribing ivermectin over the internet. She laughed in disbelief that doctors would go to such lengths for a prescription that was not even given experimental status by the FDA. Although, it is going through clinical trials, it is not approved. I asked my pharmacist if doctors can lose heir license for prescribing medicine without FDA approval. She indicated that they can but acknowledged that obviously they are getting away with it (eye roll).
Those who are too stupid to realize they are working for the Communist are like drones sent into a mountain top when the program was flawed. They should copy off their own Darwin Award because they are Lemmings with the brains of a pea. It is my mission to educate those voters with enough brains to understand that it is the pea brains who need to be out voted and their Commie masters eliminated.

I see you in this thread about your stance on ivermectin, but either have over looked or you haven’t commented on the OP who passed away on Aug 1st after requesting the monoclonal treatment but was denied multiple times. I was almost in a similar situation as ER discharged me with no meds, and this was day 5 of COVID with horrible cough but oximeter never below 96 and chest xrays checked out as good. Problem was it took 3 days to get in for infusion and i was the one doing all the running around as noone ever followed up on what they were supposed to do. People not calling me back, and i had to coordinate with this Infectious Disease Associates first but no one would give me a number to call them so a good day and a half was wasted while my health was declining based on their incompetence. Then when i got the approval from the Infectious Disease Associates, my fate was in the hands of the Infusion center which was part of the walk in clinic that 4 days prior refused to treat me. That was an ordeal where i was calling every hour on the hour and they would just tell me there was no further updates. When i finally get to infusion center she asked when i first has symptoms and this was day 8 and she told me if i was any later i wouldn’t have been able to be treated. And the 3 or 4 day wait was due to THEIR incompitence. Would be curious on your feedback on this horrible care and what they did to the OP.
What does your doctor say about the incompetent neglect you experienced? I can understand the resistance to treating you with ivermectin, but sotrovimab? The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued an emergency use authorization (EUA) May 26, 2021 for monoclonal antibody therapy.
Your hospital should have the most up-to-date treatment in the world. I would blame Biden for the foot dragging and poor communication of information to the medical establishment.
Would you have reason for a lawsuit in your case for the negligence in treating your infection?
I have no idea about a lawsuit for negligence as this was my first and only trip to the ER in my 50 years of being alive so I’m assuming this is normal procedure which compounds my lack of faith in the medical industry in general. Also pretty sure the bar is pretty high to prove medical negligence. I could already see the defense’s argument by using the fake Covid numbers and saying due to the spike of cases, and the lack of staff to treat the surge of Covid patients, the care i received was more than adequate. lol
