I understand your message completely. Perhaps it’s the post after post by different people with the same negative theme that’s deflating. They’ve worn each other down with their repetitive and reinforcing gloom. We try to buck each other up here and it either works or the odd impulsive doomer just goes silent. I’m sure we’ve all written the occasional doomer post, but that’s what the “Preview” button is for. Write it, read it, get it out of your system, then backspace to the thread without posting and dragging 30 people down with you.

Like DJT says, never never never give up. Treat the word impossible as nothing more than motivation.
Sounds like my BIL and his son. I've told them there should be a penalty for that attitude when Trump returns and people are being led off to prison.
But, they'll just say "Oh, guess I was wrong. Wonder what's on TV."
