What cop in their right mind would agressively investigate these urban murders or try to make an arrest even if the perp was known and about? NYC cops are just putting in their time and are going out on disability under any pretext that works. They are retiring as soon as possible. Anyone blame them?

The left’s plans are to allow society to continue to decline with crime rampant. The populace will cry out for order and the only solution according to the elites is to send in the military. Once that is allowed the left will have total control.
You can’t create a National police force (Stasi), unless you refund the local police and throw the country into chaos
I’ve long wondered how people who are murder targets on the job day in and day out, can work, knowing if they defend themselves too quickly or make an honest mistake, they will have their lives destroyed by murder charges.
Seems like a real no-win situation and really not worth the risk either way. It takes a special kind of bravery and dedication to work the streets of our inner cities these days, I guess.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy denounced Democrats after thousands of police officers resigned from their departments amid a soaring crime wave.
The New York Times reported:
“New York City saw 2,600 officers retire in 2020 compared with 1,509 the year before.”
“Resignations in Seattle increased to 123 from 34 and retirements to 96 from 43. Minneapolis, which had 912 uniformed officers in May 2019, is now down to 699. At the same time, many cities are contending with a rise in shootings and homicides.”
The news comes after months of demonization by Democrats who pushed for “no more policing,” as homicide rates increased 30% last year and have increased 24 percent in 2021.
McCarthy responded to the news in a statement blaming the Democrat’s attacks on the police

The Police Executive Research Forum released the numbers from 194 law enforcement agencies underlines the crisis in policing across the U.S.
HIRING: There was a 5% decrease in the hiring rate for the 2020-2021 period, compared to the previous year. America’s largest police agencies, those which have more than 500 officers, experienced a 36% decrease in the hiring rate for the 2020-2021 period, compared to the previous year.
Law enforcement agencies that had 250-499 officers experienced a 29% decrease in the hiring rate for the 2020-2021 period, compared to the previous year.
RESIGNATIONS: There was an 18% increase in the resignation rate for the 2020-2021 period, compared to the previous year.
RETIREMENTS: There was a 45% increase in the retirement rate for the 2020-2021 period compared to the previous year.
McCarthy responded to the news in a statement blaming the Democrat’s attacks on the police.
Meanwhile, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez downplayed the crime wave and continued calls to ‘defund the police’
“Over the past year, Democrats’ sustained movement to defund, dismantle, and demonize our cops is taking a toll on our communities,” McCarthy said.
“It has manifested in the crime crisis our nation faces today, yet President Biden remains soft on crime and silent on Democrats’ radical policies.”
“Supporting the police and striving for safe communities should not be partisan objectives – they are shared values of the American people,” McCarthy added.
“It’s troubling that Democrats continue to vilify the police at a time when they truly need our support.”
Meanwhile, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez downplayed the crime wave and continued calls to “defund the police.”

AOC claimed that concerns raised by skyrocketing homicide numbers are just “hysteria.”
During a new video this week, AOC called on her supporters to ignore crime statistics - that show violence, murder, and shootings soaring - and instead continue to push for police departments to suffer further budget cuts.

Bring in Soros 'prosecutors' to put criminals back out on the streets BEFORE their victims are out of the hospital.
Use Soros lawyers to sue police and change laws so police can be publicly abused - water thrown on them, spitting on them etc.
When police start quitting and retiring in droves have democrat mayors lower standards for hiring police. Cut training time.
Streach police forces too thin...short staffing... All these action will result in more violence and more problems and more 'retirements' from police who know what they're doing...
Resulting in the goal: chaos.
Use chaos to either call in the military to put down 'rebellion' (which will be the excuse to take control of conservative American cities in red states... when the problem is in inner city blue states...
Or Police forces will be federalized... meaning Governors like DeSantis will be unable to stand up to Antifa and BLM thugs as they burn down red state cities...
People will beg for help (yes this tactic was used in the old USSR) and the boot will come down on our necks forever.
I wonder how many Cops Voted for Xiden and his DEMONCRAT buddies.
