My dad is now 95. He voluntarily quit driving five years ago. Yay! Nonetheless, he still owns a car. It is parked in his driveway where he lives by himself.

He doesn’t see well and he doesn’t hear well. Those seem to be his only problems. His mind is still able to work and he keeps up with the information that makes it through the sight-hearing challenge.

I hope the day doesn’t come when he thinks he can still drive. Also a car just sitting there ruins them. The gas becomes like lacquer. I know. That is what happened to my dads truck.
