Hi Dolly - I would have answered sooner, but I was just up for one of my many bladder adjustments in the night. I think if I had one of those fit bit things, I’d just wear it in the night and meet my walking goals lol.

Thanks for breakfast lysie. Off to clear out some stuff at the cottage today. They have listed the price too high - I am giving it up rather than buying it. It will be sad to leave after 25 years, but we decided when we sold the house that we were going to help the kids out before anything else. Cashing investments in is pretty pricey, so it’s time to close the chapter on the cottage. *Sniff*.

Mobile home is supposed to arrive early September, so we’re prepping for that - house closes August 30th, so now that we don’t have the cottage, it’ll be fun to see what happens for a few weeks while homeless lol. Onward and upward.

Oh, Judy, it is hard to leave a place. So many memories.

We just received word that the border in Papua is closing on July 28. No one will be allowed in or out after that date. You’re only allowed out if you have a negative covid test. The border will remain closed for at least 1 month.

So, we’re following the advice of Matt.25:1-10. We don’t know when the door will open, but we will be ready to go as soon as we can. [To be clear, we are currently in the US and want to get to Papua, Indonesia.] Hubs will again teach long-distance via the internet. I will garden. I have done a lot of gardening this year.

Speaking of that, we have had too much rain over the last month to actually be able to garden. The ground is squishy. When it isn’t rainy it is very muggy. And hot. Hot, moisture, and fertile soil. Things have also become quite jungle-ly here as well. At least we’ll have August.

Sorry you have to leave cabin, I know you enjoyed it. I bet you will be so glad when you are finally settled in your new home. It’s hard to be in limbo for so long.

New beginnings are exciting, Judy. The LORD is literally moving you in a new direction. You can pack up whenever you want with your mobile home.

Sorry to hear about the cabin. We’ve ALL enjoyed the stories....and, can only imagine the 25 years of memories and experiences...for you, your kids/grandkids.

Maybe you can write a children’s best seller, one day, about the fun, and VERY educational, times!

Helping the kids out will be a blessing, for all.

💞

I wonder if the new buyers will let you rent back for a few weeks?

Oh I know it’ll be hard to give the cottage up. Maybe it won’t sell so fast and you can stay there in the interim. I’ll miss your cottage stories. But we’ll get more farm stories to look forward to.
