Sorry you have to leave cabin, I know you enjoyed it. I bet you will be so glad when you are finally settled in your new home. It’s hard to be in limbo for so long.
Thanks, Rusty. I was out there today to pack up a few things. I’m glad Natalie and the kids were with me. The next door neighbors came over. We were crying, but we realized that we were now going to be living closer and we can visit often. The farm is only about 15 minutes from the cottage, so we’ll all be closer, all year round.
The poor old cottage is in such rough shape. Now a good friend is looking at buying the land, and even though he’s got much deeper pockets than us, he’s pretty frugal and may decide against it. The cottage is a tear-down, but he’s just looking to fix a place up for summer use. We’ll see.
