I missed this story from a couple days ago.
Popular Nashville local radio host Phil Valentine has been placed on a ventilator.
Valentine was recently hospitalized after contracting COVID-19 and made headlines after saying he wished he had gotten the vaccine and supported it openly.
Valentine’s brother, Mark Valentine, told News4 that Phil was placed on a ventilator on Wednesday.
The now pro-vaccine Valentine was doing alright when he first tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago. He was hospitalized a week later after he began experiencing COVID-19-related pneumonia.

Interesting fact:
The Biden admin is allowing Covid+ illegals into the Country, & is now flying them, without proper ID, all across the Country, spiking Covid hospitalizations INTENTIONALLY in RED States.
What the complicit media refuses to cover beyond this, is the incredibly low fatality rate among vax and non-vax pateints. They are also silent on how many of those in hospitals are illegals, or have been in contact with illegals shipped into the States by the Biden Admin.
Why is the FDA refusing to allow PROVEN cure/vaccines HCQ and ivermectin? Do they want the fatality rate high? Do they need another outbreak to help them rig the 2022 election?

I can only read so much about the virus and vaccines before I go crazy, so I may have missed this, but I had read that on the positive tests they can’t tell what variant it is. Has that changed?

Regular COVID-19 tests do not detect which variant is involved in a patient’s case—that information does not change the approach to care or therapy. The variant identification requires genomic sequencing, a process separate from regular virus tests and one that not all labs are able to do or do not do on a routine basis for patient care but are done more for public health monitoring.

our county heath director says 84% of New cases are unvaccinated, and even though our governor will not mandate masks, we are personally responsible to our community to get vaccinated and wear masks.
Of the 2 deaths this month, 1 of them was from Mexico. Most of new cases are younger and middle-aged adults, but they don’t tell us how many are from other countries.

I’d like to have an antibody test too, but I don’t think insurance covers it and don’t know how much it costs.

In fact, there’s a thread about a reply someone received FROM CDC about how the only way to determine variant is through expensive genome testing...which, of corse, is not being done.
