We had a mother park her infants on the hillside right behind our house. So cute! These weren't that young though, they didn't stay still, we kept seeing their little heads pop up among the tall grass. And as the Sun moved during the day they followed the shade and ended up in the forest, not too far away though so mom still found them.

Ciudad Acuna is the border town I’m close to. We’ve had 2 Covid here this month, 1 of them was from Mexico.

We are a summer and tourist destination.

Many people have 2nd homes up here to get out of the HOT weather in the big cities during the summer.

There are also many rentals that are always in demand during the summer.

It’s hard to tell how many would be relocating full time.

If they can work from home, like our new next door neighbor, they may choose to live here.

It is a much better place to raise kids too.

Yes, very cute!

I love watching the wildlife.

Saw our injured buck a couple of days ago, was getting worried about him as he would be easy prey.

Hubby feeds the squirrels, has created a monster.

One gets up on the AC unit and stares at him thru the window till he goes out and puts out peanuts and food.

He also will get up on top of the feeder that is nailed to a pine tree and will stare at hubby.

So funny!
