According to a new Rasmussen poll, just 34% of American adults believe America’s Founding Fathers would consider the country they founded to be a success if they were to come back today, 245 years later.
That is me. I went with my Twitter name instead of Nanadory8. I couldn’t get some names to show up.
GETTR seems to be having some glitches today, can’t see other peoples posts on articles, can’t get names to come up.
I’m sure it is getting slammed today and will get everything worked out.

This INCREDIBLE picture was taken in 1918.
It is 18,000 men preparing for war in a training camp at Camp Dodge, Iowa.
FACTS: Base to Shoulder: 150 feet; Right Arm: 340 feet; Widest part of arm holding torch: 12 1/2 feet; Right thumb: 35 feet; Thickest part of body: 29 feet; Left hand length: 30 feet; Face: 60 feet; Nose: 21 feet; Longest spike of head piece: 70 feet; Torch and flame combined: 980 feet; Number of men in flame of torch: 12,000; Number of men in torch: 2,800; Number of men in right arm: 1,200; Number of men in body, head and balance of figure only: 2,000
Total men: 18,000
These stats demonstrate that the designer realized that the width and lengths of every part of the figure had to increase steadily the farther away from the camera they would be, due to the effect of perspective. So the design fit within an inverted trapezoid (wider at the top than at the bottom) in order to appear to be more rectangular in proportion from the camera lens (or the human eye).

A man is in custody after driving his car into the wall encircling the Washington Monument Saturday night.
The collision happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the northeast quadrant of the Washington Monument grounds, according to U.S. Park Police.
D.C. Police said the man’s SUV mounted the curb, drove through the crowded grounds and came within 500 feet of the marble obelisk before crashing into the surrounding stone wall.
No pedestrians were hit by the car.
Witnesses told NBC Washington that the driver sped toward a group of pedestrians and appeared to be trying to drive into them.
“My son and I were kind of like, ‘What’s going on? That seems weird.’ It looked like he was looking for an exit and then all of a sudden it turned to, no … there is something wrong here,” Nicholas Kline said.
Witnesses also told NBC Washington that the driver appeared to be agitated and drove in figure 8s on the monument grounds.
The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital in custody.
The FBI is investigating the crash as a possible act of terrorism.
The monument is currently closed and will remain shuttered for the Fourth of July.
Annnnnd of course, now that I posted, I found a news report with video!
The guy is white and is clearly shown being taken away on a stretcher. Reports are the guy was saying ‘the government is trying to kill me’. One of the people who got him out of the vehicle after it crashed responded ‘the government is not trying to kill you. Lie down’. ROFL
After a bystander asked him about his motive, he said expletives about Facebook, Google and Twitter. In the video, he’s got some type of signs attached to the top of the SUV, and there’s stuff stickered to the windows as well.
