I’d say “Hamilton!” balances the scales.
They mentioned Elvis Presley was miscast as a Native American, but if I’m correct he was part Native American.
I saw Audrey Hepburn play a Native American in a film, I think it was called Unforgiven. Burt Lancaster, Lillian Gish and Audie Murphy were in it.
A British television show has a black woman playing Queen Anne Boleyn.

Everytime they cast a sub-Saharan as Othello is a miscast then.
They are ACTORS! They get paid to pretend to be people they are not.
Robert Morley, James Mason, Omar Sharif in Gengis Khan.
John Wayne in THE CONQUEROR.
Peter Lore as Mr Moto.
Anthony Quinn in so many roles..Indian, Eskimo, Arab...
And the list goes on.
Also, there was nothing especially Chinese about Emma Stone's character, was there? Just the name, and that's not much. She could have been adopted, or been a product of many generations of intermarriage or maybe the family name was changed at Ellis Island.
And what happens to those films where Jews play non-Jews and non-Jews play Jews?
What part of the word "acting" do they not understand?
That’s why they call it “acting.”
Theatre of the absurd. Now you have the Puerto Rican producer of In the Heights (the Hamilton dude) having to apologize for not using blacks who were no black enough and Hispanics who were not brown enough for the tastes of the race industry. By the way, not a white ever to be seen in any of his productions.
Someone had to dig hard to find those. I would be proud of having Sir Laurence Olivier acting for my race.
The race baiting never ends with leftists.
The White Actors still played their roles FAR better, than ANY Black actors ever played characters that were originally White. As proof of their untalentedness.
"The Party", with Peter Sellers playing an Indian, was recommended to me by an Indian (Asian not American) friend who found it hilarious. As did I.
In British shows, which I watch almost exclusively, it’s ridiculous. In Midsomer Murders they dumped the creator because he wasn’t changing the nature of the little Cotswolds towns. Immediately afterwards, the towns were populated by people of all colors who had never been seen before.
I always think of King Lear which I saw with Ian McKellen in 2018 in London. One of his three daughters was black. She did a great job,. It just seemed out of place, though.
Amos and Andy smile we got it right.
