It’s not surprising to Michel Courtoy, of Saratoga, that people are still being careful. Courtoy walked around Santana Row without a mask because he now feels he has “the freedom to make my own decisions and act in a way I feel appropriate.”
Still, Courtoy wears his mask inside stores and when a majority of people around him are wearing one. It’s not out of “social pressure.” It’s a sign of “respect for other people.”
“I think if a majority of people in a confined space indoors stop wearing them, I feel I’ll follow the group,” Courtoy said. “But it’s like a snake biting its tail: You’re waiting for other people to give you the signal, and they’re waiting for your signals. It’s a difficult situation.”

I live in the Bay Area and I’m not wearing a mask anymore. It’s not a “sign of respect for other people” to wear a mask after I’ve been vaccinated - it’s an indulgence of their neurosis, one I’m not willing to make.
It covers up the stench of human feces.
The irony of that statement is from my point of view, the average Asian woman retain her youthful or ‘ageless’ appearance for far longer than most other races, even w/o surgery. She has the advantage of that bone structure, with those high cheekbones Liz Warren used to brag about so much.
Because the local media refuses to tell them the rest of the USA has moved on.
One Party Rule
This was released over a year ago, and it’s more relevant than ever!

But only if he "felt" that it was expected of him!
Regards,
I went to a window screen shop in Mt. View, CA yesterday. I walked in and went right to the counter. They started yelling at me to get back behind the counter blocking the front door (with a huge plexiglass screen) and put my mask on. I said I don’ have a mask, so the woman started to get me one. I said there is no way I’m putting on a mask and I’m going elsewhere. I walked out and won’t be going back there again.
How long will these idiots do this crap?
Many Bay Area residents are gutless, retarded imbeciles. But hey, they’ve got plenty of fellow gutless retards all over the place.
I am in Ventura County I have been out and about EVERYWHERE since the 15th with no mask and thus far have not run into any mask Karen’s YET!! I can’t believe how many people still have the damn masks on GEEZE!! I am not vaccinated nor will I EVER BE no one has asked for proof of vaccine!! I have heard people say they are vaccinated and STILL wearing the mask because they are afraid of people like me who are not vaccinated!! If you are vaccinated what the hell difference does it make if someone is not vaccinated, you can’t fix STUPID!!
It’s retard land out here in the gay bay
Demoncat master says. The sheep 🐑 obey
The mask thing is WEIRD.
IVE NEVER WORE ONE EXCEPT WHEN I HAVE TO
herein Los Angeles, some are wearing masks and others not. Same with stores, some require, others no.
I no longer wear my mask unless someplace requires it.
I did not get the vaccination and do not plan to get it.
I never wore a mask (doctor’s office the exception) and have not been vaccinated. In 71 years, never had a flu shot. Not a sheep and don’t believe in fads.
I feel I’ll follow the group
“Baaaa”
Simply will not do it anymore. Never accosted, even in stores still with the mask mandate: TJ Maxx...looking at you, nor stared at to my knowledge.
Dude: DO IT!
I never wore a mask outdoors, from the beginning, and got a mask with breathing holes for indoors.
I am sorry to say I got the first ‘moderna death shot’ (easier to visit my folks who are in assisted living and still have to wear a mask while visiting)
Conformance is not a surprise, folks. Asch studied this years ago and concluded a large majority of humans (75%) are worthless lemmings.

I identify as vaccinated. If someone challenges me they are ab antiantivaxxiphobe and are simply bigoted against my community and must be subject to diversity training......
No need to glance for the Biden-Harris 2020 bumper sticker.
Fortunately I never acquired that bad habit -- never over the past 15 months -- so it's not a problem. Just keep going maskless ... you're helping weak people little by little ... but it'll take time.
Me, either. I wore a mask the absolutely least possible time — only when entering a store or barbershop. I’d put it on after entering and rip it off after checking out.
I got harassed twice, both times in the great outdoors, once by a woman and once by a man. I basically told both to butt out.
Two of my kids in their mid and early were maybe the worst, constantly haranguing me to put the mask on. I did put it on now and then for family harmony.
I guess a lot of people just have all kinds of fears.
And there’s not much that you can do about other peoples’ fears.
