I met an almost 50-year-old on a job site right before Covid who had a grandson who was 12.

So I ran the numbers.

If he has a kid at 24, she will be 62. When that kid is 24, she will be 86. If 110 is the new 80 in the future, she can be a great great great.

The thing is, she was still married to the father of her kids, her kids were still married. They all got themselves into good blue collar jobs early.

I’ve been married 56 years. It’s entirely possible that with good luck and no JABs, I could live another 10 years-and I wouldn’t be very close to 90.

Hubby’s mother was 93 when she became a great great grandma. It would be unusual to get to the GGG grandma-not many 110 year old people, and derps seem to be determined that there won’t be many elderly people around for very long either.
