“Fried chicken was NEVER a popular slave food”
Yep, chickens were expensive back then. All the old old movies always show blacks stealing chickens is how the conotation was arrived.

It has to be a joke. I mean, who doesn’t like Fried Chicken for Christ’s sake.

I’m part black and I love fried chicken and watermelon?
,br /> Me too and I'm not even part black. I make the best Collard Greens ever. They go great with my Smoked Ribs. My wife and mother-in-law love them too.

I still don’t get why fried chicken and watermelon are a negative stereotype for the black community. I’m sure there is some reason going back 100 years, but I don’t understand it. I am white and I grew up eating both foods. Chilled watermelon especially is a great food to eat in the summer in the hot and humid South. Very refreshing and cooling.

LOL!
Back in the day when the only thing libs could do was attack grammar because Americans were smarter.
Now we’re insane so we believe it all.

I love fried chicken and watermelon.
Does that make me:
More of a racist?
Less of a racist?
No change - (and its racist to ask the question.)

Okay then, no more fried chicken and watermelons for blacks.
