Trump: 'I have not conceded' 2020 loss; might have 'different president' now if not for Pence choice

Trump: 'I have not conceded' 2020 loss; might have 'different president' now if not for Pence choice

On the possibility of being reinstated as president if the 2020 contest is verified as fraudulent, Trump said such a decision would be "up to public" or "perhaps politicians."

Former President Donald Trump said Monday that he has not conceded the 2020 presidential race, that if the election is proven fraudulent it will be up to the public and "perhaps politicians" to decide how to respond, and that if Mike Pence had sent disputed election results back to state legislatures for review the country "might very well have a different president right now."

"No, I never admitted defeat," Trump told Just the News' "Water Cooler" in an exclusive interview on Real America's Voice.

"We have a lot of things happening right now ... all you have to do is read the newspapers and see what's coming out now," he said, adding that he has "not conceded."

“As long as we’re dreaming, here is a possible Constitutional solution if the stolen election is proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
Mass calls for resignation of key Democrats in the House of Representatives. Special elections fill those seats with Republicans.
Democrat Senators who won in stolen swing states are hounded to resign. Governors appoint the actual winning candidate to the seats.
Congress invokes the 20th amendment and declares ex post facto that the President-Elect did not qualify, should not have been sworn into office, and declares the Presidency and Vice-Presidency vacant. This is not an ex post facto law, as it is already in the 20th amendment. The only question is arguing the legitimacy of declaring no statue of limitations on “failing to qualify” and of not letting criminals profit from their crimes (fruit of the poisonous tree).
Via the 20th amendment, Congress declares the actual winner (President Trump) to fill the vacancy as “Acting President” until the office can be filled by someone who qualifies.
Via the 20th amendment, Congress passes a law moving the Presidential election up to 2022, and that it will forever be on a new four-year schedule beginning in 2022. This will satisfy Presidential term limits, as Trump will fill less than half of Biden’s illegitimate term and then get his own second term. He won’t be penalized for losing part of his term because of Democrat criminality.
The asterisk in the history books explaining the change in the Presidential cycle will forever be a stain on the nation caused by Democrats, along with slavery, Jim Crow, Plessy v Ferguson, and opposition to the Civil Rights of 1964.”

I think it’d a been a lot easier to have heeded Trump’s warnings that the Dems were working to steal the election, find out how and then prevent them from doing so. But too many Dems and R’s, including people in Trump’s circle, wanted him out so it was not to be. Plus there was the issue of the false prophets who said that they had talked to God and God was going to ensure Trump’s victory. Then there were those who said to not believe the polls, that Trump was going to win by such a margin, there’d be no way the Dems, assisted by the GOPe, could manufacture enough votes to steal the election. This was done, in my opinion, to lull us into a sense of complacency.

I don’t trust the election result but there is no way the Republican legislatures would have changed the result.

It’s 6 months later and we’re still waiting for 1 state to complete an audit.

Some states like PA had small groups of legislators petition Congress the way you describe, but there wasn’t a single case of a legislature formally voting on such a request.

Heck of a lot more than Pence involved in this mess. I hate to see Trump throw Pence under the bus.

I’m not a big fan of Pence, but I’d say there’s almost no chance Trump would have won in 2016 without him on the ballot.

Pence was to Trump as GHW Bush was to Reagan

And the so-called Representatives that promised to abject to the electors didn’t. The senators from Tennessee were cowards, one little issue and they went hiding behind closed doors and forgot to represent the people of Tennessee. Look at what our forefathers went through. And look what pansies today’s current Representatives are.

Understand. Just don’t agree.

It’s up to the President to weigh the options and make the best choice.

I guess what I object to is people suggesting that in essence that President Trump had little choice but to make the decisions he did.

Like I said, well not agree on this.

“And the current situation shows how we the public and the politicians have decided how to deal with it.”

And why are you here and not on DU, if you’re happy the way things went.

And no, there was no proof of fraud until now and they are actually counting the ballots, not just recounting fake ballads.

74% of Republicans and about 25% of Democrats think the election was stolen.

Blaming it all on Pence is idiotic unless Trump has solid evidence that Pence worked with urban Democrats to commit election fraud in multiple states. Not very likely.

Then why are you swinging insults?

That typically happens when the person has run out of any intelligent thought.

What do you expect when you are trying to find a diamond in a sh*t pile?

Lot of crappy people waiting in the wings for their shot at power. Not very many good ones.

You forgot Christopher Wray, the FBI DIRECTOR.

I don’t think anybody on the right voted for Mike Pence, we voted for Donald Trump to be the President of the United States.

And it’s rather pathetic to hear so many on the right, glossing over the fatal decisions made by our beloved President in choosing Deep State traitors to fill these critical positions as the aforementioned loser and put the blame on Mike Pence.

President Trump would still be our president, the election fraud would be investigated and prosecuted, and the Deep State would be dismantled, if he would have picked the “fighters” he’s always urging Republicans to be.

Had the roles been reversed, Nancy Pelosi would have made it happen. She has more balls than Pence.

“ there’s almost no chance Trump would have won in 2016 without him on the ballot.”

That is probably true. Pence was a forced error, like a number of his other appointments.

Had he said "I will not be party to this farce." He would have at least earned some respect, even if his efforts to stop the steal ultimately failed.

We have a wonderful constitution but it was not written for a corrupted society. It did not have process to correct a corruption as deep as what occurred in the last election especially after what controls it did have were neglected for 40 years.

As others have said, there were no institutions to appeal to in our time of need. They were all corrupted.

Trump is frustrated having been robbed but trying to place blame is beneath him in my opinion.

We own the problem, We recognize it and therefore own it. We must act carefully and prudently. The state level is where we must act.
