The way to get some semblance of acceptability is to strip the FBI of its counter-intelligence role, and limit it to investigation of conventional federal crimes. Counter-intelligence quickly becomes interference in domestic politics, suppression of dissent, media manipulation, etc. Hello Stasi.
And, it became rally visible when that hack Mueller took over from his offices out here in Ca. It was like dropping a putrid apple in a barrel. What can you expect?
Disband. Put forensic unit within other offices and fire the rest.

How. Fire and as needed demand resignation of the whole lot, then appoint all new leaders and put on a call and search for qualified patriots. That search can include all lower level FBI employees who resigned, with interviews and FBI work history reviews before accepting all their resignations. However, I would not accept continuation of any senior people (a) hired under Obama or Biden, (b) hired under Mueller, or (c) on the job 20 years or more.
With leverage, Archimedes could move the world and so could Hillary with the info in those FBI files.
The Clintons have corrupted everything they’ve touched and gave away or sold the rest to the highest bidders.

The short answer is we don’t.
Anybody that ever trusted the FBI is stupid. It was created via blackmail, created to get the info to keep the blackmail going, it has always been a political organization primarily concerned with its own survival.

Almost Every Mass shooter in America has been on the FBI watch list.

If you disband it nobody is pissing in. Its over.
We should pose that question to the survivors of Waco or Ruby Ridge.
You worry too much. Everything is going to work out OK. Try to take the information that is available and in your mind’s eye go up to about 50,000 ft and then survey the scene. The game board will look much different. That’s where Trump and the white hats are playing chess.
