My very good friend, a car-cra liberal, has a daughter, son-in-law and beautiful little granddaughter in Portland. She says all the destruction is in another part of town so she’s not worried. I’m seriously worried for them.

The way it will start is a gradual increase in petty crime in the neighborhood. If that is not happening then she is probably fine--for now.
