High latitude summer, go with your friends and build a fire on the beach or seashore on midsummer. Stay up all night until the sun rises! (At 2:00 AM!)
(Summer in Michigan and Wisconsin was as far north as I went!)
SLIDE: Cool Picture. I recall Cody Wyoming in June. Snow banks on each side of the road. Sweeping hail off the picnic table in a roadside park.
And snow banks in S. Dakota that were shoulder high(we lived there for a year). First snow fall was 21" and the snow was not gone till July. I went out to get the mail - snow gave way and I sank up to by shoulders. Was really glad to get home to Mo.
