There are “people of color” on the site.
Just no males with obvious “black” heritage.
“Equatorial Negroids” share certain outward characteristics such as a broad, flat nose, large lips and tightly-curled hair (nappy IS the correct term).
None of the “brown faces” exhibited these common traits.
I think it is “on purpose”; authors are skeert of blow-back.
shrug. I see no reason to even have such a web site. You don’t even put in a name. Just click refresh and get another person - a picture of a person who doesn’t exist? Well who is that picture of? SMH - makes no sense to me at all.
That nonexistent person site seems to give out more female looking AI creations, in my experience (Yes, I’m weird - I leave a tab open to the site, and when I’m bored, I go there and refresh the page at least 30 times, just for fun!) My nerd brother introduced me to the site years back, along with other sites of similar interest. I think what it does is fascinating, really - manufacturing very realistic looking human faces out of thin air and pixel dust like that! There are plenty of “women of color” represented; in fact just now when I opened it, the very first image was a mixed race brown woman, and oddly enough, I clicked through 7 female images before getting my first male one. 2 of the first 12 were children. I think I’ve seen black male faces, but they’re definitely rare.
Sometimes, at least in the past, you’d get a lot of malformed second half-images off to one side, along with the primary face, as if there was a grotesque demon lurking beside the “person”. I saved a collection of those in a folder somewhere a while back. I don’t know if they’ve worked that bug out of it!
