I just bought a gas powered car last year, I'm financing it over 7 years, a 2019 Ford Ecosport, so what does this mean? When I finally pay it off it will be banned because it's gas powered? By the time you pay it off, EV owners who buy now will be faced with replacing and disposing their batteries. It won't be pretty.

The powertrain is one of the most appealing features of an electric car. It’s much cheaper to maintain or replace a battery than to maintain or replace an internal combustion engine.
