Will reparations be waived for the white people who helped the slaves escape through the underground railways?
The whole reparations thing is a crock. The Civil War and slavery wasn’t that cut and dry. My ancestors were Republicans in the South that fought for the Confederacy and never owned a slave or believed in slavery. Some people in the South fought for the Confederacy for reasons other than to keep slaves. That is one of the many things in history that has been covered up or rewritten.
