Today's Republican Party is building a political bomb -- and the ingredients for the explosive concoction are being mixed before our eyes. When it all blows up -- and it will, unless the party changes course soon -- the result will be not just rhetorical extremism but could well include real violence.

A chilling new poll by PRRI, the Public Religion Research Institute, found that nearly one in four Republicans (that's tens of millions of people) believe the QAnon mythology that "the government, media, and financial worlds in the US are controlled by a group of Satan-worshipping pedophiles."

Forget Q Anon. I have been saying for quite some time that while the GOP has been infiltrated by Satan's followers, the Democrat Party is controlled by Satan's followers.

Ha ha! That is funny but it probably is a problem with the way the poll question was asked. Who wouldn't be tempted to answer yes to the question, “Do you believe the US is controlled by a group of Satan-worshipping pedophiles?” Especially with old Joe at the helm.

Well, if one takes a look at the top 6 folks of the PRRI, they will see that 5 of the 6 are as white as can be. Ergo, for the good of all humanity, shouldn’t the be committing seppuku?

That hypothesis is silly. We all know that our ruling class were close friends with Epstein, who was falsely arrested . . . before he killed himself . . . while the prison cameras were inoperable . . . and his guards were asleep. There is no evidence of a pedophile connection, so there is no reason to look for evidence. As for Satan worship, we just have to look at their anti-God, pro-abortion platform to know that Satan is more likely to see our rulers as competition than as worshipers.

Or plan to "occupy" areas they are not allowed to be at en mass as a form of political pressure? Or stand outside political conventions so that they can run down and attack those that walk off in a direction away from the others?

In exactly which way are they afraid the Republicans might start acting like the Democrats always act?

I don't believe it. Even on activist conservative sites like this, very few people follow QAnon. As for "Satan-worshipping pedophiles," I doubt that one in four Republications would subscribe to that precise formulation.

We would much more likely say that government, media, and finance are increasingly and openly hostile to Christianity, and also promote all forms of what Christians regard as sexual deviance. We might say that is Satanic without claiming that those people are literally "Satan worshippers" or "pedophiles."

And why don't they survey Democrats to identify all of the crazy ideas THEY hold?
