B.J. Thomas, the vocalist who mixed the stylish sophistication of a pop crooner and the down-home soul of a country singer on songs like the 1969 smash “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head,” died Saturday in his Arlington, Texas home at the age of 78.

He loved bicycling, and it looks like he wiped out all on his own in an accident. (Hilly spot perhaps, big, big guy?) Only 64 - Geeeezzz. I guess I should be more careful too...
RIP to all, and their families and friends, too. We’ve lost another terrific musician in B. J. Thomas. :-(
