I’m in it to the end. I have seen those defeatists though and several do not like Trump. Libs was probably not the right word.
I found out on Wednesday that my own 87 year old bedridden mom dislikes Trump. I was very surprised because she loves Bush. She has never said why she dislikes Trump but she has obviously been watching too much CNN. Hospice came out Wednesday to assess her and when they checked her mind the first question was “do you know who the President is?” She said “I know who I’m glad it’s not!” One of my sisters busted me in the ribs because she could feel me tense up. The nurse noticed too because she said “maybe I should ask a different question.” LOL
Mom doesn’t like Biden but dislikes Trump more. She’s a typical polite Southern woman and all I can figure is that his course Northern manner of speaking turns her off. She’s one of those elderly Southern women that can cut you to shreds with her tongue, make you bleed, and be polite doing it.
The defeatists don't like Trump, and several don't like Biden either. What they DO like is defeatism. They LOVE it. They find wallowing in doom and gloom positively orgasmic.
Your mom sounds pretty sharp, in spite of watching CNN and disliking the [REAL] President. She may very well come around in time. Maybe sooner than expected. :-)
That reminds me of my mom. She didn’t like Clinton but she sure didn’t like “shrub” either.
