The defeatists don't like Trump, and several don't like Biden either. What they DO like is defeatism. They LOVE it. They find wallowing in doom and gloom positively orgasmic.
Your mom sounds pretty sharp, in spite of watching CNN and disliking the [REAL] President. She may very well come around in time. Maybe sooner than expected. :-)
Both of my sisters say they don’t know what she’s watching for sure but suspect it’s CNN. Everybody else in the family loves Trump. Back when Mom was able she even did the prepper thing and had one whole room in her house dedicated to prepping. LOL My sisters said she never talks about politics anymore except to dump on Trump. I can’t figure it out.
