One can go to usgs.gov, and look at the world's tremors. One will find that MOST of the world's quakes these days, and for the past year or two, occurred at a depth of 10.0 km.

Something about that depth, something about penetration depth of rods of God, something about depth of DUMBs, has gotta be incorrect.

C210N I do not believe that these kinetic weponds have a 10 KM penatration depth (6 miles deep) Their impact is supposed to produce a nuclear-like explosion somewhere near the surface.

Could you just be mis-remembering? Please post your source for a 10 KM penetration depth.

Well the last two would most likely be incorrect. There might be a re-occuring depth of 10k, but there's no way it would be a rod @ that impact speed, nor a installation @ 6 mile depth.
